Sheila O'Malley is an active member of the Taos Plein Air Society. Known for her beautiful and timeless compositions painted outdoors around Taos county, these beautiful pieces create a sense of nostalgia, capturing color, light and shadow in moments never to be seen again. This is easily one of my favorite paintings from O'Malley, an iconic and dramatic weather moment outside the historical building on Ledoux, one of the most charming spots in Taos.
