                            My name is Georgia Gersh.

                                  I was born and raised in the mountains

                                  North of Taos, New Mexico.

                                  My father was the well-known

                                   abstract expressionist, Bill Gersh,

                                                and my mother has become a talented                                                watercolorist at the ripe age of eighty...

                              and so the rich artistic history of the Southwest

                                  is quite literally in my blood.

I opened magpie in 2014 to create a venue

exclusively for artists living and working in Taos,

some that were yet to be discovered.
